In an initiative to promote the habit of using old recyclable waste to create beautiful crafts and to reduce the waste generation, a One Day Workshop on Best out of Waste was organized at Govt. Degree College, Ramkote by Department of Environmental Sciences on 9th of March 2021 under the Guidance of College Principal Dr. Ashu Vashisht. The concept that have global significance brought the various art and craft ideas into life. In the workshop, students learned to make handmade paper from used old paper and newspaper. Students also made other items like paper vase, festival decorations, wall hangings, greeting cards, toys and paper jewellery, etc. The fun-filled workshop ignited the artistic potential of the College students and was a learning experience for all, that promoted creativity, artistic excellence and a vision to reduce waste generation in youth.
