Cleanliness Drive In College Campus Organised By The NSS Unit

To spread the message of cleanliness and hygiene in our surroundings, the NSS Unit of Government Degree College (GDC), Ramkote organised a Cleanliness Drive in the college campus on 14th Nov., 2024. The purpose of the drive was to spread the message of importance of cleanliness and healthy environment. Cleanliness of environment is a key factor for ensuring healthy body and mind. The students cleared the garbage like plastic wrappers of edibles, scraps littered around and weeds etc. from every nook and corner of the college premises. The event also promoted the message of "Say No to Plastic" and emphasized to make the campus single use plastic free. Around 20 NSS volunteers participated in the drive organised by Prof Anu Sharma, NSS PO under the supervision of Prof. Ramneek Kaur, Principal of the college.
