Awareness Rally Under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Government Degree College, Ramkote, took a significant stride in promoting awareness against drug abuse by organising a Rally under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan on 24th October,2024.The Rally was flagged off from the college campus and passed through the streets of village Ramkote. Nearly 30 volunteers participated in the rally and raised slogans like Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life, Choose Health Not Drugs and many more. The aim of the rally was to raise awareness among youth and community against drug abuse The volunteers energetically spread the message in public and emphasized the life damaging effects of drug addiction.The event was organised by Prof Anu Sharma, NSS PO under the guidance of Prof.Ramneek Kaur, Principal of the college. The rally concluded in the main market with a message of importance of healthy lifestyle choices and roleof youth in preventing drug abuse.
